I redesigned the website, updating imagery and branding, and improving navigation and usability. Day–to–day activities include keeping products and pictures up to date, creating new homepage banners, and performing basic troubleshooting. I also photograph products which need photographing, design print ads, and brand merchandise (like t–shirts and stickers), and create marketing emails to send to our customers.
Immersive 1 month woodworking course in which students design and learn to build a piece of furniture, beginning with the milling of the raw wood. Power tools and hand tools are covered, an emphasis placed on traditional dovetail and mortise–and–tenon construction.
I lived in the cabin for 8–year–old girls, at a residential summer camp. As the woodworking instructor, I worked to come up with projects which would engage 8–year–old children who don’t know how to use a ruler, as well as 17–year–old farm kids with years of experience. Preferably, the projects were things which the kids could display at the county fair at the end of the summer.
Mostly inventory at the Supply shop, at the sign shop I designed and produced campus signage: bathroom and handicap signs, faculty nameplates, museum exhibition labels, and such.

Additional skills not reflected in my transcripts include competencies with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign, as well as HTML and CSS. I am beginning to familiarize myself with Wordpress, PHP, and Flash. I can sew and knit well, but cannot crochet. I enjoy solving problems, and generally pick up new skills quickly. I am very comfortable with Mac OS X (although I haven’t gotten Leopard yet—it should be on its way); I like to poke around in the terminal and developer tools, although I don’t really know what I’m doing back there. I am less comfortable with Windows, but probably as competent as the average Windows user, if not more so.
